St. Timothy’s Church will host its second free Advent recital for the 2024 season on Wednesday, December 11, at 1:00 p.m. Soprano Kathleen Bachtel will perform. Everyone is welcome.

 

Bachtel, a graduate of Massillon Washington High School, received a bachelor of music degree in vocal performance from Westminster College. She is the historic site manager at Spring Hill Historic Home in Massillon, teaches vocal lessons to local youths, performs in community theater, and sings with the choir of Central Presbyterian Church of Massillon. 

 

The recital will be followed by light refreshments in the parish hall.  A brief Holy Eucharist service is held every Wednesday at 12:10 p.m.
