KSD of Lawrence County will be hosting its 16th annual Southern Illinois Spring Classic 5K run/walk.

Schedule:

6:30-7:45 am: Registration and Packet Pick Up
8:00 am: Half Marathon Start and 5K Run/Walk Start
8:30 am: Stick around and enjoy breakfast in the school cafeteria.
10:30 am: Half Marathon/ 5K Awards

Course Info:

The SISC Half Marathon starts at Parkside Elementary School, continues through Lawrenceville, winds through the Lawrence County countryside and ends on the new Lawrenceville High School track.  

The 13.1 mile course is mostly flat.  The course will officially close 4 hours after the start time.  Please be advised that portions of the course will remain open to traffic.

Awards:

All half marathon participants will receive a medal.  
Awards will  be given to the top male and female finishers in each age group and must be claimed at the event.  The age groups are as follows:

5K       
1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-99

Half Marathon
1-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-99

Cost:

Half Marathon:
$49  until Jan. 31st
$60  Feb 1st - 28th
$70  March 1st - 29th

5K:
$19 until Jan. 31st
$30  from Feb. 1 - 28th
$35  March 1st - 29th

Registration includes race entry, T-shirt*, packet, and medal for 1/2 marathon participants. Rain or shine, no refunds.
