Vincent Ingala, who last performed in Casselberry in 2016, makes his valiant return to headline the Spring Jazz and Art Festival
Ingala, who has released eight studio albums, is touring behind his most recent release, “Escape with Me.” He now has 10 No. 1 songs, including “Movin’ and Shakin’” in 2024.
The 32-year-old tenor saxophonist from Prospect, Conn., has performed with such greats as Steve Oliver, Michael Lington and Dave Koz. His style is a combination of rock n roll, soul, funk and smooth jazz.
The musical event, sponsored by WUCF, will be the largest free jazz event this spring with music, food trucks and art exhibits.
Opening for the show is California-based soulful singer Andrea Miller, who opened for Al Jarreau many times before his passing and has been “Jazz Artist in Residency” on Princess Cruise Lines for several years. Originally trained in opera, Miller has made the transition smoothly to jazz.
