This formerly evening race has been converted to a more traditional daytime trail race, with all the scenery, camaraderie and fun that runners have come to expect from BQuick Running events!
The race is approximately 14k / 8.6 miles on beautiful trails in McDowell Mountain Regional Park. If you’ve never run a trail race before, this is a great way to start. New and experienced trail runners alike will want to include this scenic event in their winter schedule. Don’t wait – participation may be limited!
Course:
This race starts on the Pemberton Trail, a well-traveled hiking trail. Runners will access the Granite trail after a short distance. At approximately mile 3, the course makes a clockwise loop using the Stoneman Wash and Bluff trails. Be sure to watch for the park’s brown trail marker signs. We will place a few additional markings on the trail at key intersections. After completing the loop, runners will retrace their steps on the Granite and Pemberton trails to the start/finish area.
Awards:
Overall male and female winners; Masters and Super Masters winners.
