This year we are celebrating our 13th Anniversary, and will be opening the Entertainment Tent on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 5pm and Big Al and the Hi Fi’s play from 7-10pm. Then on Friday, November 29, 2024 the entire market will open at 10 AM.

Free Shuttle Service! We will be offering a Free Shuttle Service on Friday and Saturday of the market from 10 AM – 10 PM.  The shuttle will drop off in front of Etcetera, 118 E Wisconsin Ave and pick up at Nature Hill Intermediate School, 850 Lake Drive, Oconomowoc. The shuttle will run every hour.

The German Christmas Market Brings Old World Charm and Spirit to Your Neighborhood!

Nestled against the shore of Fowler Lake lies the promise of something grand for you and your kinfolk this Thanksgiving weekend.  The German Christmas Market of Oconomowoc is the perfect place to gather and enjoy authentic European food and drink and shop for handcrafted gifts. Feel transported to a magical holiday wonderland complete with live polka music, a heated Biergarten, photos with Santa and more. The Christmas Market is a can’t-miss shopping and entertainment venue that rivals even those found in Europe. No holiday season is complete without a day (or two) out at the German Christmas Market of Oconomowoc.  This 11th annual event is a celebration of our sister city, Dietzenbach, Germany and the hearty German community here in Wisconsin.

Whether you are German or not, we promise you will feel like you are. There are warm tents and outdoor festivities, so the weather matters little. We have special guests slated throughout the event and live entertainment from start to finish. Prost!
