Cure your cabin fever at Thunderfest!
This awesome outdoor winter festival was born in 2012 as a downtown activity after the Thunderbolt Ski Race on Mount Greylock. It has become an annual winter outing for residents and visitors alike!
Party on Saturday
Held outdoors at the Adams Visitor Center at 3 Hoosac Street, admission is free to a festival full of music, food and fun in celebration of winter in the Berkshires. There will be live musical acts, local craft beer and local wine, great food, outdoor recreation and craft exhibitors. Activities include a toasty campfire with marshmallows and other activities for the kids. Leashed pets are welcome, so it’s fun for the whole family! Historic Train Rides by Berkshire Scenic Railway will also be available, right across Hoosac Street at Adams Station. The festival runs from 12-5pm.
ROCK ON!
Be prepared to do some foot-tapping and dancing when a hometown favorite Bacchus takes the outdoor stage at ThunderFest! Jack Waldheim will warm up the crowd with his enjoyable melodic sounds.
This year’s hot food vendors include the la Chalupa y la Enchilada, Adams Lions Club, Adams Pizza House, and M&Js Taste of Home.
