Saturday, Dec 14, 2024 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
Join us for a magical evening at Ucross’s 12th annual Community Christmas Celebration on Saturday, December 14, at the Raymond Plank Center. This festive gathering is free and open to the public.
Beginning promptly at 4 p.m., the evening will feature a cozy fireside reading by bestselling author and Ucross neighbor Craig Johnson, who will share his newest Christmas story. Guests can enjoy live music by Sheridan’s own Dave and Julie Huebner of The Two Tracks, along with cheerful caroling by the Buffalo High School Balladiers. Refreshments will be served, and children will find plenty of holiday crafts to enjoy.
As a special tribute to the season, the evening will conclude with a fireworks display by Bruce Burns, followed by a cannon fire by Ucross neighbor Joe Reed in honor of our beloved Horticulture Manager, Kel Harris, who passed away earlier this year. The Park at Ucross will glow with thousands of twinkling lights, set up by Powder River Energy Corporation and our team, creating a festive holiday atmosphere.
In the spirit of giving, guests are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to support local food pantries.
