Spend your Fourth of July holiday under the stars at the 17th Annual Lake Forest Festival and Fireworks at Deerpath Community Park! The Friends of Lake Forest Parks & Recreation Foundation have cooked up a sizzling lineup of bands, so put on your boogie shoes for the opening act, the Shagadelics, and headliner Dancing Queen: An ABBA Salute. After the music, watch the best fireworks show on the North Shore fill the skies!

This fun family event is brought to you by the Friends of Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Foundation. All proceeds after festival expenses are used to support programs of the Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Department.

Music

The Shagadelics, one of Chicago's top Disco bands, brings you back to the 70s with groovy tunes. This talented group of four never fails to dress to impress, bringing flare pants and afros back into style. The band performs a range of 70's classics, so get ready to disco and dance the night away with The Shagadelics!

Dancing Queen: An ABBA Salute performs songs spanning the entire career of the beloved 80's Pop band ABBA. Established in 2004, Dancing Queen has been a long-time Chicago favorite. The salute band is currently on tour throughout the Midwest, promising all ABBA lovers a night to remember. This incredibly talented band provides the full ABBA experience, featuring vocals, guitar, piano, bass, and drums. Dancing Queen's stellar performance will make you feel like you are watching the real thing!

Food and Drinks

Food and beverages will be available for purchase, or you may bring your own.

We recommend that you bring cash - the closest ATM is located in downtown Lake Forest, a 5-10 minute walk from the park.

Kids Activities

In our kids area there are inflatables, the playground, and carnival games to keep them busy and entertained!

This is a "Rain or Shine" event. All tickets sales are non-refundable.
