Celebrate Oktoberfest traditions in true German style at Des Moines’ 20th Annual Oktoberfest in beautiful Water Works Park.

You bring the dirndl and lederhosen, we’ll supply the Bavarian beers, ‘kraut and everything you need to get into the spirit.

Beer: First we tap the golden keg. Then start sipping, 'cause there are a lot of German beers for you to try.

Food: Bratwurst, schnitzel, pork, oh my! Give all the traditional German dishes a try. And don’t forget your pretzel necklace!

Music: Polkas over here, German drinking songs over there. Festive live music will accompany you all weekend.

Competitions: Prepare your arms! The Stein Holding {Masskrugstemmen} Contest and Bier Maiden competitions will test your talents.

Games: We’ll have all your favorite German games including Koenigschlagen, stein pong, cornhole (mais loch) & more!

Silent Disco: Perhaps its origins aren’t entirely Bavarian, but our silent disco is sure to be authentically Fun.
