5:00pm / 7:30pm: Festival Opener: A Return to the Stork Club

Join Festival favorites Ashley Lambert, Justin John Moniz, Phil Kadet, and Jason Gamer in a return to the historic Stork Club. Don't miss these "intrepid performers" with their "rock ’em, sock ’em blend" (LA Screen and Stage). Venture back to 1929 for this historic season opener! Food and drink available for purchase. Times listed indicate when seating begins. The performance will begin approximately 30 minutes thereafter.

Join the artistic team of The Coronation of Poppea in an insightful and intimate preshow discussion surrounding the process of bringing one of Monterverdi's most famous operas to life.

3:00pm: The Coronation of Poppea

Power, lust, love, betrayal, and revenge collide as Poppea schemes to become the new Empress at any cost. Experience Monteverdi’s timeless masterpiece accompanied by a chamber ensemble of period-instruments. Sung in Italian with English supertitles.

July 18, 2024:

7:00pm: Ohana and Young Singer Vocal Showcase

A fully-staged performance featuring participants from HPAF’s High School Singer and Ohana Singer programs. This performance is presented in honor of longtime HPAF supporter, Bob Donigan (1923-2023).
