GooseFest has something for Everyone!! Kenmare, the "Snow Goose Capital of North Dakota" is the hunting haven of the north with snow goose counts being over 250,000 birds at times. Canada honkers are prevalent with some 12 to 14 pounders being bagged.

Bird weigh-ins start today. Lakeview Art Club Wildlife Art Show & Sale at M&K’s Pizza Hub, all week. Sun-up to 1 pm - 2-Person Fun Shoot. $20/Team. Sign up by 5 pm, Oct. 21 at City Limits Bar or Kenmare’s Jack & Jill. Must pre-register. Prizes Awarded. Lunch. Open to All Ages. Gun Drawing- 16 & under, sponsored by Renville Elevator Co. Gun Drawing- For all other participants, sponsored by City Limits Bar. Weigh-ins at 1 pm at Kenmare’s Jack & Jill.
