From: Utah's Christmas Town FestivalThe Helper Electric Light Parade began in 1990. The festival runs for three weekends. Starting the first weekend before Thanksgiving is the Annual Christmas Craft Fair held in the Helper Auditorium. The following Friday kicks off the weekend with the Lights On Ceremony and Santa's first visit to the area. The culmination of the festival is the first weekend of December when the Electric Light Parade rolls down Main Street on Friday and Saturday nights. A Chili Dinner fundraiser is held just before the parade for a warm start to the cold winter night. On Saturday night the festival ends with an extravagant post-parade, grand finale fireworks show choreographed to music. Other events and holiday surprises can be experienced on historic Main Street during all three weeks of the festival at local shops, galleries and First Friday events.
