Captain Jonathan Hillstrand

Captain Jonathan Hillstrand, third generation fisherman and legend of the Bering Sea, will be available to meet on Saturday and Sunday, February 25th and 26th of the 35th Annual Western Virginia Sport Show. A long time featured player of Discovery Channel's longest running show, Deadliest Catch, Jonathan is the captain of the Time Bandit, a 113-foot vessel carrying 137 crab pots. Come meet the man described by the Discovery Channel as an elite fisherman, brawler, and Bering Sea prankster!

Howard & Jason Caldwell

Raptors can only be held under specific permitting. Both Howard & Jason are licensed to possess & handle LIVE birds of prey. Both are licensed Master Falconers, permitted since 1994. In 2006, the team founded Raptors Up Close, an organization designed to educate the public about the fascinating worlds of birds of prey. Jason has since become a licensed raptor educator, federal master bander, raptor propagator and permitted for abatement services with raptors.

Kenny Davis

The host of Whitetail Frenzy, enjoyed a successful football career at the collegiate and pro levels. After leaving the gridiron, Kenny devoted more time to his lifelong passion of outdoor videography and bow hunting. He travels across North America chasing big game, but made a name for himself by harvesting mature bucks on film in the Appalachian Region of the US. Whitetail Frenzy is in it's 10th season and can be seen Jul-Dec on the Pursuit Channel, Wild TV and Sportsman Channel.

Jack Paluh

"With my artwork, my hope is to transport my viewers into an image which promotes the true essence of nature. My goal is to have the viewer's eyes flow comfortably through a piece and to draw them into the canvas. I want to portray the beauty of the outdoors in my works and share these scenes with others..."

Neil Selby

A professional gun dog trainer for over 45 years, and has trained many AKC pointer and retriever champions. An accomplished gun dog judge, trainer, handler and national competitor, having been the first trainer to win a Pointing Dog National with a retriever.

Neil Selby is the owner of Shady Grove Kennel and Hunting Preserve in Remington, Virginia.
