From: Hoggetowne Medieval FaireFor three consecutive weekends, a medieval village comes alive during the 37th Annual Hoggetowne Medieval Faire. The blasts of trumpets mingle with the laughter of children as the kingdom of Hoggetowne opens its gates. Olde world dancers and singers captivate crowds, while hundreds of artisans sell jewelry, hand-blown glassware, wood carvings, medieval clothing and more. Guests can enjoy acts on nine stages of entertainment, with performances by amazing acrobats and mystifying magicians. On the jousting field, armored knights battle one another from horseback for the honor of the King and Queen. In conjunction with this year’s theme "The Return of Robin Hood", the Tournament Field will host a stunning show of combat entertainment during living chess matches.
Children can embark on their own adventures by enjoying human-powered push rides as well as and camel and war horse rides. Guests who arrive early will be greeted by a gathering of performers, actors and characters.
The sound of applause echoes from the Faire’s six stages, where continuous entertainment delights visitors with medieval music and dance, gripping aerial acrobatics and old-world magic. Visit the Royal Pavilion where the King and Queen welcome guests from across the realm!
