41st Annual West Point Crab Carnival

Join the West Point Chamber of Commerce for the most anticipated crab event in Virginia during the 41st Annual Crab Carnival being hosted on Friday, October 6th and Saturday, October 7th in the beautiful downtown waterfront district of West Point!

As one of Virginia's most popular and longest-running fall festivals, the West Point Crab Carnival welcomes over 10,000 visitors from all over the east coast to enjoy the family friendly atmosphere with live music, beverages, shopping, fireworks, parade, and of course, crabs!

SATURDAY CRAB CARNIVAL PARADE  Saturday, October 7

March through the parade with your team, show off your special talent, strut your pristine automobile or interact with the community through the widely attended Crab Carnival Parade. The parade lines up on Kirby Street, before turning down Main Street and running right through the heart of the Crab Carnival Vendor area.

FRIDAY NIGHT FIREWORKS

Look up into the night sky as Old Dominion Fireworks presents colorful pyrotechnic display celebrating 41 years of the West Point Crab Carnival. The show will kick off around 8:30 p.m. on Friday, October 6th.

West Point Elementary School PBIS Committee

TOUR DE CRAB KIDS BIKE RACE

Have fun and race to the finish line of the Tour de Crab kids bike race to benefit the West Point Elementary School PBIS committee on Friday, October 6th. Ages 3yo through 5th grade. Entry fee is $5 per rider. On-site registration begins at 4:15 pm and races start at 5:00 pm.

Sweet Justice

Join us on Friday, October 6th for the 41st Annual Crab Carnival in West Point, Virginia. Taking to the stage at 7:00 pm is Sweet Justice, a 70s and 80s classic rock band.

Junior Wilson

Join us on Saturday, October 7th for the 41st Annual Crab Carnival in West Point, Virginia. Taking to the stage at 11:00 am is Junior Wilson, a musician, singer, and songwriter with what can be coined as a "gospel, blues, folk rock, and soul" sound.

Luke Bobbit Music

Join us on Saturday, October 7th for the 41st Annual Crab Carnival in West Point, Virginia. Taking to the stage at 2:00 pm is Luke Bobbitt Music, delivering timeless country music.
