The Black Hills Sports Show and Outdoor Expo showcases over 100 dealers and vendors and a lineup of events for the entire family, the Expo brings education and entertainment to the whole family.

Best Buck or Bull - Boone and Crocket Gross Scoring Contest:

To get your antlers entered and scored, bring them to the Ponderosa Room on the 2nd floor of The Monument on Friday, February 9, between 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM or Saturday, February 10, between 9 AM – 1 PM. All entries will receive free admission. Scorers will be on-site. All antlers will be scored, so bring YOUR BEST! The top two scores in each category will receive a grand prize. All other entries will be put in a prize drawing for a Premier Weapon, sponsored by Scull Construction Service. Free entry to the sports show for anyone who submits an entry (adult or youth – not a family pass).

Category winners will be announced at the South Dakota Youth Hunting Adventures Live Auction held at the Monument, Cowboy Bar, Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 6:30 PM. The entry prize winner for the Premier Weapon will be announced proceeding.

One valid entry per species per person. Animals must have been harvested in South Dakota during a valid 2023 hunting season. Names and tags will be checked through South Dakota Game Fish and Parks. Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of the Official Rules. Horns/antlers must be picked up by 2:30 PM on Sunday, Feb 11, 2024.

Sdyha Silent Auction Fundraiser:

This year’s auction will be held at the Monument's Cowboy Bar on Saturday, February 10th. Registration will start at 5:30 PM and auction will start at 6:30 PM.

Activities for Kids:

Fun for the whole family! This year we will have a Strider Bike obstacle course, kids activity room/shooting range and NEW this year Black Hills Paintball will have a Gell Blaster shooting range! The kids activities will be held in the Aspen and Cedar rooms.
