Mississippi Watermelon Festival 5K

MS Watermelon Festival 5K Run/Walk, Friday July 19 at 7:00pm. The entry fee is 25.00 and after the deadline it is 30.00. Shirts will be guaranteed to pre-registered participants only. Registration will begin at 6:00pm. Awards will be given in each age division for Run/Walk. All proceeds go to the The Town of Mize Volunteer Fire Department. All participants will receive a run shirt and entry to the festival for great food, free watermelon and entertainment.

Mike Cockrell from Discovery Channels hit show Moonshiners will be at the 2024 MS Watermelon Festival on Friday and Saturday.  Mike is proud to call Mize his hometown, and loves coming home to support the Volunteer Fire Department and see all his friends and fans!  Moonshiners airs on Tuesday nights and this will be season 13.
