We are excited to bring you the 49th Okra Strut in 2023

The Irmo Okra Strut Festival is free to the public thanks to our sponsors! Individual fees apply for rides, amusements and food/drink. The family fun, live music, and all the goodness that is Okra begins: Friday September, 29th, 2023, 6:00pm – 11:00pm and runs all day Saturday September, 30th, 2023, 9:00am – 10:00pm (Night Time Music Series starts roughly at 6pm both days.)

Friday September, 29th, 2023, from 6:00pm – 11:00pm

Friday is the opening night of the strut. Starting at 7:30pm be ready to out with The L.A. Maybe taking the stage around 7:30pm. Followed by a party with The Terence Young Music Project!

Food will be freshly cooked and the beer will be ice cold all night until 11pm. The amusement rides will be running until 11pm, so bring the whole family on down for a great night!

Saturday September, 30th, 2023, from 9:00am – 10:00pm

Saturday at the Strut starts bright and early with our Annual Irmo Okra Strut Parade starting at 9am. We take over a major road in our town and put on the biggest and longest running parade in the state of South Carolina. So grab a seat and plan to be on St Andrews Road, between Crossroads Intermediate and Irmo Elementary Schools before 9!

Then right after the parade the fun will start over at the park. From 10am until 4pm, we have a full day of fun performers on the main stage.

Richland County Hospitality Tax Stage-

Starting around 6pm we are excited to announce our opening band The Reggie Sullivan Band! Bring your friends and family out for an enjoyable day of delicious food, cold drinks and amusement rides. Then towards the end of the night come jam out with the one and only SPIN DOCTORS!
Plan the Perfect Date Night!

Saturday night at the Strut is a great evening for a beautiful date outside under the canopy. With one of the largest collections of food trucks and vendors in the area you can have a nice dinner of crab legs or a turkey leg with a side of fried okra! Then you can grab a tasty dessert to feed that sweet tooth or head over to the beer tent for a fresh poured local beer. The Saturday night musical acts begin around 6pm complete with a laser light show.
