From: Dia De Muertos FestivalThe City of Roswell will host its 4th annual Dia De Muertos (Day of the Dead) Festival.
The festival will be held on the grounds of Roswell City Hall. Visitors of all ages can experience an authentic Day of the Dead celebration. Enjoy Mexican food, crafts, entertainment, and dancing. Visit a traditional altar honoring family and friends who have passed. Food, artist, and exhibitor opportunities are available.
This year's festival is presented in partnership with the Consulate General of Mexico.
Highlights Include:
-Traditional Entertainment: Aztec dancers, Oaxaca Group, and a mariachi band.
-Food: On-site vendors will sell Mexican cuisine, such as empanadas and tamales.
-Face Painting: No Dia de Muertos celebration would be complete without traditional candy skull face painting. Free, but tips are appreciated.
-Ofrenda: Visit a traditional altar honoring family and friends who have passed.
