The fourth annual Resurrection Festival in Durango begins on Friday March 29, 2024.
Kick off the festival with us at Good Friday worship at Gospel Church Durango.
After Good Friday worship, fill downtown Durango in the evening with songs of praise.
Join the joyful procession down Main Street on Saturday morning, then celebrate at the block party with games and festivities

Friday, March 29, 2024

6:00 p.m: Good Friday Worship: Meet at Gospel Church at 6pm

7:00 p.m: Music downtown: We will have several groups of musicians playing resurrection songs on street corners along Main Ave.
Everyone is encouraged to walk around downtown and listen to the music and help make it a festive time. (Map of locations of musicians to come)

Saturday, March 30, 2024

11:30 a.m: Procession Down Main Avenue: Meet at Gospel Church for preparation and instructions at 11:30am. Procession begins at 12:00pm.
Wear white.

12:30 p.m: Picnic Lunch: Meet at Buckley Park following the parade for lunch (bring your own food).
1:00 p.m: Wiffle Ball & Kick Ball: Meet at the Buckley Park for family wiffle ball and kickball. There will be a pick-up game for everyone to join in.
2:00 p.m: Coffee Time: Meet at Gospel Church.
3:00 p.m: Block Party with street games Meet at Gospel Church.
5:30 p.m: Feast at Gospel Church: The feast is free, donations accepted. Registration for the feast is required. Register now

7:00 p.m: Concert/Dance at Gospel Church: A concert and dance will follow the dinner.

Everyone is asked to return to their own local churches for Sunday morning. If you do not have a local church, join us.

9:00 a.m: Potluck Brunch: Meet at Gospel Church.
10:30 a.m: Resurrection Day Worship
