June 29, 2024
8:30 PM: Movie in the Park
Come out with your family and friends and watch a movie at Steed Park. Grab some snacks from the concession stand and play some games with us. This has become a well-loved tradition for the families in our community. This year we’ll be watching Top Gun: Maverick. The movie begins at dusk.
July 1, 2024
7:30 PM: Paint the Bridge
Come help us kick off our 4th of July as we paint the Center Street Bridge. Paint, food trucks, and dancing on the bridge into the night. This is a perfect way to get you in the patriotic spirit of the 4th! All paint supplies are provided at this free event.
The Center Street Bridge will be closed all day on July 1 to prepare for the event.
July 2, 2024
7:30 PM: Patriotic Concert
Get in the patriotic spirit at this concert as the Clearfield City Community Band and Choir favor us with all the Independence Day classics. This will be held at the Bicentennial Amphitheater.
July 3, 2024
7:30 - 9 PM: Pool Bash
Snack on some watermelon as you watch your kids try to get the highest cannonball, or see if you can beat them as you enjoy this family-favorite pool party.
July 4, 2024
7:00 AM: Freedom Run 5K/1 mile
Start your 4th of July off with a nice brisk run on Clearfield’s trails. Beginning at Steed Park, the route will take you through one of the City’s most beautiful areas down the trails, and back up through the park.
Register by June 12 to be guaranteed a shirt.
9:30 AM: Hometown Parade
The route begins at City Hall down State Street and up SR-193 to the high school. Come party with us and gather all of the candy you can at one of the oldest traditions in the city. To register your float, contact us at [email protected].
Parade guests may set up their seating after 7 p.m. on July 3. Seating must be on city property, meaning no private or residential areas. Tarps and spikes put in the ground are prohibited. Please be respectful of other people’s property!
The entire Clearfield High School parking lot will be closed during the Hometown Parade to host parade floats. There will be no outlet between 350 S. and Center St. from 9 a.m. on July 4 until the parade concludes. If you live in this area, please plan accordingly.
6:00 PM: Freedom Festival
The Freedom Festival at Fisher Park is the culmination of the July 4th experience – featuring tasty treats, fun vendors, ice-cold beverages, and breathtaking fireworks. We are so excited to have Utah’s 2nd largest fireworks show back this year.
Come dance to our live entertainment featuring Michael Barrow and the Tourists and Waiting for James. Following the final act, the synchronized fireworks show will begin at about 10:00 PM.
The northern section of the Clearfield High School parking lot will be closed due to construction during the Freedom Festival.
