Feeling hungry? Get ready to chow down on a delicious mix of ethnic and local eats that'll have you coming back for seconds (and thirds). From bratwursts to hometown favorites, your taste buds are in for a treat.

But wait, there's more! We've got the Husker Game live on the big screen, so you won't miss a single play. Imagine cheering on the Huskers with a crowd of fans, all while soaking up the Oktoberfest atmosphere - does it get any better than that?

The weekend is jam-packed with action! Kick things off with the 5K run, or O'fest Four-Person Scramble Golf Scramble. Be sure to grab your spot for the parade - it's a colorful, music-filled showcase of everything Sidney has to offer. And for the grand finale, don't miss the annual wiener dog race on Sunday! These little pups are ready to dash to victory, and trust us, it's as hilarious as it is adorable.

10:00 - 7:00pm: crafts fair - indoors and out - fairgrounds

12:00pm: opening ceremony - dedication - o'fest tent

Noon - midnight: Continuous free entertainment at oktoberfest tent - entertainment schedule available on site - beergarden and a great variety of ethnic foods.

9:00 - midnight: dance  - band to be announced.  O'fest tent!

October 5, 2024

7:30pm: srmc o'fest run - start at community center; end at o'fest tent

10:00 - 7:00pm: oktoberfest market - pavilion at fairgrounds

10:00pm: o'fest four-person scramble, shotgun start at hillside golf course, call pro shop for details    

10:00pm: oktoberfest parade - downtown sidney  

10:00 - 7:00pm: crafts fair - wonderful assortment of handmade crafts and gifts - fairgrounds

Noon - midnight: continuous free entertainment, ethnic foods & ice cold beer - non-alcoholic beer also available - in the tent.
