The Rankin County Chamber Leadership Class of 2023-2024 is thrilled to announce the 5th annual Krewe de Roux! Central Mississippi’s largest Mardi Gras celebration promises a weekend filled with joy, music, and delectable flavors that you won't want to miss.

February 9, 2024:

6:30pm - 10pm: Parade and Block Party

The Rankin County Chamber and City of Brandon present the 5th Annual Krewe de Roux Festival! The Parade & Block Party will be held in Historic Downtown Brandon. After the parade of floats, there will be a free public concert by Mustache The Band, the World's Most Powerful 90s Country Party Band, on the Big Stage on Dining Street, drawing a crowd of all ages! Local restaurants such as Genna Benna, Mudbugs 042, Burgers Blues Barbecue, The Cleaners by Pizza Shack, and The Gallows Bar will stay open late, providing a spot for when you need great food and beverages.

February 10, 2024:

11am - 3pm: Krewe De Roux Festival

The Rankin County Chamber and City of Brandon present the 5th Annual Krewe de Roux Festival!

The Gumbo Cook-Off and Classic Car Show will be held at the Brandon Amphitheater. Approximately 50 teams* will provide sample-size gumbo in hopes of winning prizes, like "Best Gumbo" and "Fan Favorite"! This is a very family-friendly environment, with plenty of entertainment, music, and activities for all ages.

*Attention Gumbo Cook Teams! The earlier you register, the earlier you get to pre-select your team's spot!!
