The numerous ethics complaints filed against Sam Brown show he thinks the rules don’t apply to him

In the final 7 days leading up to the November election, we’re highlighting MAGA extremist Sam Brown’s 7 most extreme plans that will harm hardworking Nevadans.

On Nov 1st, we’re looking at the Brown campaign’s repeated ethics scandals that have plagued his latest bid for office. Brown has made it clear he’s willing to break the rules for his own benefit, and his extreme record includes:

  • Starting a scam PAC that was purported to “help elect Republicans” that instead was almost entirely used to pay off the campaign debts from his failed 2022 Senate bid – “a move one campaign finance expert likened to using the PAC as a ‘slush fund.’”
    • Brown’s effort to mislead donors earned him an FEC complaint and the nickname “Scam” Brown from members of his own party.
  • Facing FEC complaints over both his 2022 and 2024 campaigns for potentially illegal coordination with outside super PACs.
  • Failing to disclose his role as the local president of an extreme anti-abortion group that backed a nationwide abortion ban and called Roe v. Wade a “moral atrocity.”
    • After a complaint was filed, the Nevada Faith & Freedom Coalition abruptly scrubbed all mentions of Sam Brown from its website.
  • Failing to disclose that he still managed a business in Texas even after he’d moved to Nevada.
  • Being caught flouting election laws after breaking rules about campaigning at polling locations.
  • Refusing to follow rules barring political campaigning at the Nevada Day Parade.
