McDade Watermelon Festival Street Dance with The Bandits

Kick up your heels & have a good time

Every year, the Friday evening before the Watermelon Festival, McDade closes off the Main Street {Old Hwy 20 between Waco St & Bastrop St. in the Historical District} to hold a community dance that brings everyone together. You'll find live music, food & beverages. We invite you to bring the whole family and come enjoy the simple things in life and be apart of our small town fun!  McDade Watermelon Festival Street Dance!

Parade on Main Street  at 10am

5K & Watermelon Weigh-in begins the Main Street activities prior to the Parade.

10:30am - 4:30pm: Live Music on the Grounds on Pavillion Stage

10:30am - 1:30pm: Sean Orr & The Texas Gold Band

1:30pm - 4:30pm: Annie Rost & The Texas Wanderers
