The Liederkranz Craft Brew and Sausage Fest is on its 8th year and will be held Aug. 19, 2023. We will continue to raise funds to preserve, restore and enhance the historic Liederkranz, one of Downtown "Railside" Grand Island’s most prominent landmarks, by bringing together a cultural offering of regional craft brews and meats as an event intended to benefit the whole community. Ensuring that the building remains for future generations furthers the Liederkranz' mission to honor Grand Island' German heritage, culture, and arts to share it with the broader community.

Brewers

This event will feature more than 20 craft beer and other beverage brewers from Nebraska.

Butchers' Treats

A handful of local butchers will also be on site to provide hand-made, fresh sausages, brats and other meats.

Entertainment

The Liederkranz was founded as a music-loving society, and no event there would be complete without talented musicians.

Outdoor Festival

The Craft Brew & Sausage Fest is held in the Liederkranz' gorgeous, enclosed courtyard. This one-of-a-kind space is unparalleled not only anywhere in Downtown Grand Island, but as well as across the state. Trying to do this space justice in one photo or one paragraph is difficult, but the pictures in the slideshow to the left should show you what sets this event apart from other brew festivals, which are typically held in parking lots or streets.
