GELDING SURGERY FUNDRAISERS

Myers and Whiskey are scheduled for their gelding surgeries. Myers is next week, and Whiskey is the following. They are both older horses, which makes the surgery a little more complicated and a little higher risk than with a younger horse. This will help them get one step closer to adoption! Please consider donating on behalf of either stallion - any amount helps!

ADOPTIONS!
Last week three of our equine friends went to their forever homes!

FRED AND ETHEL

Fred and Ethel came to AAE in the spring of 2023. AAE originally met them at a distressed sanctuary about three years ago. They were adopted, but unfortunately, it took considerable time for the adopters to earn the trust of these two sweet s-*****! Though they were adored by their adopters, their adopters were unable to manage their hooves and care, so they contacted AAE to for help. Once here, they got hoof and dental care, vaccines, deworming, and microchips. They were improving with haltering and hoof handling, and they really enjoyed grooming and attention.

This week, we had the pleasure of transporting them to their new best friend, Jeff, this week. He and all of his friends were so excited to welcome these two characters! Happy ever after to these three!

BRODIE

Brodie came to AAE with pasture-mate Kyrie. Their owner was moving out of state and couldn't take them. The home she had found for them fell through at the last minute.

Brodie had little training and low confidence when he arrived. During his stay at AAE, he worked with a trainer and made progress, but not enough to carry a rider. He bonded with the herd and humans alike. We are sad to see him go, but are even more excited for what adventures he and his new human Haley will have!

Pizza Party! Best Pizza Ever!

It's a Pizza Party! Invite your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, and everyone you know to Viscuso's Pizza & Draft House on Saturday, August 26 between 12:30p and 8:30p to enjoy good pizza for a good cause.

This is some of the best pizza (if not THE best) pizza in town. It is an AAE favorite. If you haven't been yet, it's a must try, and there's no better time to try than on August 26!

Their menu also features a variety of tasty appetizers, flat breads, toasted sandwiches, all-you-can-eat dine in salad bar, and desserts.

Mention AAE when you place your orders and 20% of sales will be donated to the horses! Wear an AAE T-shirt, too.

Valid for dine in, take-out, and at the bar.

Help us spread the word by downloading this flyer and sharing with everyone know you.

Coupons not accepted. You MUST mention AAE each time you order, or your order won't count for the fundraiser.

Sponsorship opportunities, from private family and friends tables to exclusive business/corporate packages (and everything in between), range from $500 to $7500. Sponsor tables seat 12.

Sponsor packages are designed to provide branding exposure at Boots & Bling, through advertising and public relations, as well as potential exposure at the ranch in Pilot Hill and the tack store in Shingle Springs. We can work together to develop a package most beneficial to your business.

Can you help with an Auction Item?

The live and silent auctions have been one of the most important aspects of Boots & Bling, and they raise substantial funding for AAE’s horses and operations.

With your help, we can make this the most successful auction yet!

Ways to help:
* Donate an item, experience or volunteer your professional service (This evening is a great opportunity to highlight your business with 350+ in attendance)
* Contact your family and personal network of friends and business associates who may be willing to donate items/products, services, and experiences.
* Join our Boots & Bling Auction team and contact businesses about donating items/products, services, and experiences.

Businesses do not need to be local. Vacation/destination items help make wonderful auction packages or baskets!

If you are able to donate to the auction, please complete and return this form. Find additional information here. If you have questions, please email us.
