Every day, we are grateful for the way you come together and rally for horses-in-need by supporting AAE. Today, we're asking you to come together for a special lil' warrior mare, who you might remember, Gabby.

This sweet mare has been battling recurrent abscesses in her hooves for several months now. We've gotten through multiple episodes, and she was doing tremendously well. Last week, she declined again, and recent radiographs indicate there's a new fracture in her (left front) coffin bone. Which came first, abscess or fracture? This past week, she's been in substantial pain, and it seems surgery is her best option. That said, it isn't risk free. The damage may be too severe to expect the quality of life she deserves. Let's pray that's not the case.

Gabby's going to the hospital today for surgery tomorrow. She really needs your help with prayers and positive energies. If you're able to chip in to help with her surgery costs, she'll be most grateful for your support, and so will we. Let's give her one more chance.
