The first two weekends, celebrate American Craft Week with us! We've got pottery artists sharing their craft with you with demos, new seasonal work, food offerings and fun. Check out the details on these exciting events, including participants, and special features. We can't wait to share the beauty and artistry of Seagrove with you!

R.D. Mahan Kiln Opening & Turkey Roast

From the Ground Up 172 Crestwood Rd • Robbins, 27325 October 5 & 6, 10am-5pm There will be wood-fired pots and electric-fired pots: tree pots, platters, soul pots, bells, and more, some made from local clay. Demonstrations. Refreshments to go!

Carolina Crockery-Hatfield Pottery 326 Adams Road • Seagrove, 27341 | Saturday 10-5 Join us for a celebration of 11 years of Carolina Crockery Gallery in Seagrove! We’ll have olive oil and vinegar tastings, special discounts, and more. Come see our beautiful pottery collection and taste some great flavors and recipes. We will have a sneak peek of new designs. Tastings of recipes with curated flavors of fall flavors will be available to enjoy.

See where all the magic happens. Frank will have the studio open for tours and explanation of the many steps it takes to go from a lump of clay to a beautiful finished product. He will pull a wheel out on the studio porch, to demonstrate throwing or help you try your hand at forming a porcelain piece on the wheel.

October 5th is the opening weekend of our Gourd Garden Event during Potters' Pumpkin Patch Trail event! At The Triangle Studio there will be an outside garden patch of beautiful ceramic gourds in a wide variety of colors (weather permitting) and demonstrations all day by Erin Younge Enjoy fall themed refreshments while you watch the demo.

Demonstrations on the deck (weather permitting). Eck will demonstrate how he turns multiple colors of clay on the wheel at the same time to create his Agateware. He will also demonstrate the carving techniques he uses to achieve the intricate patterns on his pots.
