From: Annex TheatreA new comedy by Marcus Gorman
Directed by Jasmine Joshua
When 19-year-old Frankie inherits her late grandfather’s little black book, she goes on a cross-country road trip to meet his mistresses. As she and her college bestie travel across the United States and through decades of her family’s secret history, she learns not just who her grandfather truly was…but also a key to her own identity. GOLD is a funny and relatable drama about what we leave behind.
And also, some psychedelic dinosaurs.

"I am thrilled to be working with Marcus on this incredible play. I have twice had the privilege of bringing his characters to life as an actor (Deers and GUNKED!) and it is an honor to direct his work. I have directed three different workshops of this play over the last four years and I cannot wait for audiences to see the full magic that is Gold on Annex's stage."

"Jasmine has brought so much life and personality to this script over its development process and I couldn't be happier to see it finally reach audiences. Thank you to Annex Theatre for continuing to be Seattle's premier new play incubator; I've been creating #boldnewwork here for 12 years and I appreciate the trust they have in me and my ever-expanding gang of collaborators."
