September is Kentucky Archaeology Month and in recognition, Wickliffe Mounds will have special hands-on demonstrations for learning about archaeology for visitors of all ages, kids to adults.

Featured activities include a mock excavation dig for kids, archaeology methods and artifact  identification station, primitive technology, spear and atlatl throwing, flint knapping, weaving, pottery, and various crafts to make and take home.

Participate in musical drumming, play a game of Stickball and more. Museum admission is general fees. Sponsored by the Kentucky Heritage Council.
