ARIZONA -- During Oct 1st’s vice presidential debate, J.D. Vance doubled down on Trump’s Project 2025’s agenda, threatening Arizonans’ rights, banning abortion nationwide, and passing sweeping tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy. In stark contrast, Tim Walz focused on a new way forward for Arizonans by protecting abortion rights, funding public education, and lowering costs for working-class families. 

“Arizonans understand that Tim Walz is fighting for them, not for the ultra-wealthy,” said Chairwoman of the Arizona Democratic Party, Yolanda Bejarano. “Tonight’s debate showcased that while Harris-Walz is focused on a new way forward, J.D. Vance and Donald Trump want to take Arizonans backward with their extreme Project 2025. They are on a mission to roll back Americans’ rights and freedoms and raise costs for the middle class, and that is why Arizonans are going to reject Trump-Vance this November.”
