Arnica Grace's incredible talent, combined with her dedication to helping others, truly makes her an artist with a surprising and inspiring backstory

Arnica Grace is not only an incredibly talented artist but also a full-time paramedic. When she is not saving lives, she dedicates her time to creating stunning oil paintings. Her artworks showcase the deep earthy colors of island life, portraying the romantic and beautiful aspects of living in such a place.

One of Arnica's specialties is capturing the essence of shore birds, allowing viewers to experience a more profound understanding of island life. Her paintings are known for their intricate details, with shadows and gradients that provide depth and captivate audiences for hours.

In addition to her artistic pursuits, Arnica has a strong dedication to giving back. She has generously donated one of her beautiful pieces to our Silent Auction for our "Hearts for the Arts" fundraiser.

Visitors have the opportunity to view Arnica's work and place bids on the  silent auction items

Want to get more involved with the art center?

Here are some steps you can take to get more involved with the Port Aransas Art Center:

1 Become a member: Consider becoming a single or family member by paying the annual fee of $45 or $75. This will not only support the operations of the art center but also give you access to member benefits such as discounts on classes.

2. Donate: If you don't want to become a member, you can still make a donation to support the educational events and classes, as well as the phase 2 expansion and operations of the art center. Simply walk into the art center and make a donation.

3. Join the "Catch the Wave" campaign: The art center has a specific fundraising campaign called "Catch the Wave" which you can join. This campaign could help with operations and our phase 2 expansion. Stay updated on the art center's website or social media to learn about such campaigns.

4. Participate in fundraising events: The art center may organize several events throughout the year to raise funds. These events can be a great way to get involved. Attend these events, volunteer, or consider taking part in fundraisers to support the art center.

5. Spread the word: This is probably one of the easiest ways to help the art center.  Share our social media post, tell friends and family about our fundraising events.
