- We need and are asking for a state-level push to secure full funding for the Sunflower Summer program ensuring youth access to arts education. Learn more HERE.
- We are building stronger connections across the arts sector through participation, intentionally fostering collaboration and shared goals within our creative community.
Education
- We proudly funded scholarships at the Eastern Kansas Scholastic Art Awards show at Mark Arts, supporting the next generation of young artists in our community.
- Wichita Arts Council representatives attended the USD 259 art teacher in-service, offering resources and support for local educators in advancing arts education.
- We continue to partner with CityArts to ensure students of all ages have access to enriching creative opportunities.
Outreach
- Join us on February 26th for an ARTS MIXR at Newman University's Steckline Gallery, an exciting networking event to connect local artists, organizations, and supporters.
- We continue our small grant program to engage with diverse communities and expand the reach of arts and culture in Wichita.
- Our outreach efforts include new collaborative projects designed to involve residents in hands-on artistic experiences throughout the city.
