POUGHKEEPSIE, NY: Arts Mid-Hudson, in partnership with The Mid-Hudson Career Consortium, is pleased to present THRIVE: Making a Career in the Arts, a free virtual event designed to equip college students with essential career insights and resources for success in the arts industry.

In today’s competitive job market, it is more important than ever for students to be well-prepared for careers in the arts. THRIVE offers attendees an opportunity to network with arts employers, explore career pathways, and discover upcoming internship opportunities. By engaging with arts professionals, participants will gain valuable knowledge to help them transition from college to a successful career in the arts.

Participating Organizations:

The Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art (SUNY New Paltz) - A dynamic hub for the arts and artists of the Hudson Valley, dedicated to inspiring curiosity and critical thinking.

Tangent Theatre Company - A professional theater company producing powerful, character-driven stories that resonate with audiences.

Shadowland Stages - A nonprofit theater in Ellenville, NY, known for its diverse productions, educational programs, and contributions to the local arts community.

The Art Effect - A youth-focused arts organization empowering young artists through media, arts education, and professional development.
