Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month celebrates the diverse cultures and accomplishments of Americans who trace their roots to Asia and the Pacific Islands and the ways they have enriched America’s history and society. AAPI heritage includes over 40 countries and 25,000 islands in the Pacific Ocean.
The Asian Chamber of Texas is co-hosting the AAPI Celebration at the ATT Discovery Center on May 6th. Come celebrate with us!

Dr. Huang has been the Director and Health Authority for the Dallas County Health and Human Services Department since February 2019. Dr. Huang’s tenacity to fostering and protecting public health was proven during the Covid 19 outbreak. He was the spokesperson representing CDC and Dallas County educating the public about the importance of vaccines. Under his leadership over 600,000 vaccines were administered through DCHHS and County efforts. He was recently recognized by D Magazine, Best of Big D as “Best Public Official” for 2021.” Learn more! ACT's Town Hall meeting was well attended with over 100 tuned into a conversation with Texas Senator Tan Parker. Discussion hover around SB 147 initiative, a new proposed law that limit the ownership of foreign entities of Texas lands.
