Celebrating our 20th year, Atlanta Game Fest is a chance for boardgame fans to gather, socialize, see old friends (as well as make new ones) and really stretch out and get in four full days of fun and games. We get a great group of friendly folks who make getting into a game easy. There will also be an extensive selection of the games folks are most interested in playing now, since they went to the trouble of bringing them for play.

Boardgame fans from across the Southeast gather for four days of fun and games. Hundreds of the world's best boardgames are available for play, as well as friendly folks who can help with the rules. The Flea Market is 2pm Saturday.

10am game room opens. Registration is usually at the table closest to the main entrance in the game room. There should be a sign. Games along the wall are available for play. The owner has put their name inside each box, often stamped on the inside of the top lid, and has also made a sign with their name taped to the shelves or table/wall near their games to aid in returning the game. Games on the table are available for play. Games and anything stored under the tables are private property.

Finding people to play with is easy: They come to play with others at these events, so if you see folks milling about feel free to ask if they are looking for a game. There is also a dry-erase board where you can put game requests. Finally, we have "players wanted" and "teachers wanted" signs available. The main point of the event is to get folks into games, so if you need any assistance just ask Ward or anyone handy. We get a great group that makes the event easy and fun.

The folks from Werewolf ATL are back and we will have sessions Friday and Saturday night. Experienced as well as new players are welcome. Always wanted to try a game, this is a great chance.

10:30am Robo Rally (cube)

Six Robo Rally boards are assembled into a "cube" so the board has no edges. This has been a popular feature at Atlanta Game Fest and we will have a session at Saturday at 10:30am. The game usually lasts about 2 hours. There will be a sign-up sheet at registration. Hosted by Leon Hendee. (registration)

1:45pm set-up for Flea Market (location TBA)

2-3pm Flea Market

The flea market is a great chance for folks to clear out some shelf space and get those unplayed games back into circulation. Remember, an unplayed game is an unhappy game. The flea market is free for all members; however, dealers may not sell new games at the flea market. Masks will be required during the flea market.

Selling games at the flea market is free (with your membership). There is no additional charge. However, if you have a lot of games to sell at the flea market you can reserve a table for $20. You can register and pay when you pick up your badge.
