PROVIDENCE, RI — Acknowledging the importance of consistent attendance in education and in alignment with the #AttendanceMattersRI campaign, Governor Dan McKee and Commissioner Angélica Infante-Green are pleased to highlight the top elementary, middle, and high schools with the greatest average weekly attendance*.

The following schools are Rhode Island’s attendance leaders for the week of February 24, 2025**:

-- Elementary: Woodridge Elementary School, Cranston – 97.3%
-- Middle: Barrington Middle School – 96.4%
-- High School: Segue IFL Legacy High School – 95.3%

The Governor and Commissioner express their gratitude and encouragement to all schools in Rhode Island for their ongoing efforts to prioritize attendance and reinforce the value of consistent learning experiences for all students.

*Note: Improved schools are not included as the week previous to February 24 was school break.
