From: Auburn Chamber of CommerceThis Week at the Auburn Chamber
Good Morning, what a beautiful morning we are having! This week is shaping up to truly look like Spring thank goodness! And after Spring comes Summer and Summer means we get to celebrate our country's independence with Auburn Family Fourth of July!!
While we are talking about Fourth of July, let me tell you what's happening! This year will start off with the DELICIOUS Pancake Breakfast in Old Town thanks to the volunteers at Auburn Hook and Ladder, then the parade will start at the top of Lincoln Way at 10:30 am. This is where things start to change, we have changed the parade route for hopefully the last and final time. It will travel down Lincoln Way to High Street and then instead of going down into the Fairgrounds, it will turn left onto Pleasant Ave, continue on to Pacific and end at the Overlook Park. We are excited for a new adventure and hope it will create new places to view our wonderful parades!
After you have had some lunch and spent some time with friends and family head over to the Gold Country Fairgrounds because starting at 4pm will be entertainment, watermelon eating contest, kids zone, AGventure and TONS of Food and Vendors! Then grab a blanket and a cold drink because at dark we will set off Auburn FAMOUS Fireworks display.
If you would like to join as a parade entry, a vendor at the Fairgrounds or interested in helping us pay for the event (mostly the Fireworks), please head to our website and see all the info!
Happy Monday!!!
