Sam Grisman Project
The music that my father David Grisman and his close friend, Jerry Garcia, made in the early 90s (in the house that I grew up in) is not only some of the most timeless acoustic music ever recorded, it also triggers my oldest and fondest musical memories. What I find most inspiring about this material is the way their camaraderie and their love and joy for the music, simply oozes out of each recording. It is also impressive how deeply they get beneath their favorite songs—whether they are originals, covers or traditional/old time tunes—and how expertly that material was curated.
49 Winchester
With their latest album, Fortune Favors The Bold, Russell County, Virginia-based 49 Winchester is ready and roaring to break onto the national scene with its unique brand of tear-in-your-beer alt-country, sticky barroom floor rock-n-roll, and high-octane Appalachian folk.

Melvin Seals & Jgb
Melvin Seals has been a powerful presence in the music industry for over 30 years with a long-established reputation as a performer, recording artist and producer. Melvin is most revered for his powerful, high-spirited, Hammond B-3 and keyboards in the Jerry Garcia Band. Melvin spun his B-3 magic with the Jerry Garcia Band for 18 years and in doing so helped pioneer and define what has now become “Jam Band Music." From blues to funk to rock to jazz, Melvin Seals serves up a tasty mix with a little R&B and gospel thrown in to spice things up.

Last Waltz Tribute
The Last Waltz Tribute out of Columbus, OH, sets out to recreate the spirit of The Last Waltz.
The concert features a group of core musicians as well as many guests throughout the set.
The original Last Waltz Concert was on Thanksgiving day in 1976, and was made into a music documentary directed by Martin Scorsese. The concert was meant as a farewell to the group The Band and included performances by their friends and musical inspirations; Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Muddy Waters, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and many more.
James Wooster, with a core band consisting of Wib Schneider, Ryan Paradise, David Freeman, Michael Brokamp, and Benny Coleman have recruited an arsenal of incredible musicians to recreate the spirit & the music of The Last Waltz.
A core band & horn section will be joined by many well known Ohio Valley musicians, including Adrian Niles, Ezra John Hamilton, Izzy Stetar, Kelly Robison, Bob White, and others. It’s a celebration of the music of The Band, as well as the local music scene in West Virginia.
Chloe And the Steel Strings
Chloe & the Steel Strings is an up & coming Americana band from Toledo, OH. Acoustically driven, the Steel Strings have spent the last five years crafting their unique sound of singer-songwriter Americana with a dash of psychedelic headspace. With weaving rhythms and gorgeous vocals, the band’s sound has been described as if “Joni Mitchell had a baby with the Flying Burrito Brothers.”
Chloe & the Steel Strings recently released their debut album, Burn Bright, in early 2022. The album was written and self-recorded in their home, and touches on topics of self-actualization, finding true purpose, and following your heart.
Rumpke Mountain Boys
The Rumpke Mountain Boys combine signature vocals, a unique command of string instruments (acoustic guitar, mandolin, upright bass and banjo) and dynamic special effects into a singular musical experience. An emotion filled musical stream of consciousness with no setlist, minimal structure, and intuitive improvisational flow. In this way, they summon the energy of the crowd as their guide in linking just the right music to precise moments in time.
Grateful Dead Hour host David Gans proclaimed, “One of the things I love about the Rumpke Mountain Boys is that there’s a fundamental honesty in their presentation. This is something they share with my other heroes, Donna the Buffalo and the Grateful Dead. They don’t make set lists ahead of time, they don’t rehearse their songs to a fare-thee-well-- they perform in real time. All four of them write, which is very important, and they draw songs from a tremendous variety of sources... being a musician is a life-long learning experience, if you’re doing it right, and they are.”
Ekoostik Hookah
One of the most original and energetic acts around today, ekoostik hookah is the nucleus of a family drawn to its lucid, improvisational treatment of psychedelic rock n' roll, blues, funk, jazz and bluegrass layered with rich harmonies. Born in early 1991 in a smoky basement bar, the band has been continually evolving, cultivating a sound that has perked the ears of contemporaries and attracted fans who travel miles to hear them play.
KR-3
KR-3 has spent over a decade carefully forging their own special blend dubbed "Appalachian psychedelia", a convergence of Americana folk and country with dreamy synth pop and lengthy narrative improvisation. The band seems to have one foot in crafting songs in the singer/songwriter tradition and another foot dangling in outer space. This tradition of exploration, genre busting and forging their own path on their terms has defined the band.
?Known for their mind-bending, live silent discos, KR-3's sound is a soul grabbing, mind expanding, psychedelic, funk, and blues inspired jam, mixed with prevailing three part vocal harmonies. Their signature sound is reminiscent of the San Franscisco scene in the mid to late 60's, and the band has gained a following of faithful fans across the region. KR-3 has a supernatural ability to improvise together as one brain. With the powerful and moving lyrics of guitarists/vocalists Tim Boyd & Roberto Parsons, the bass playing of Al Wudarski, the extraordinary talents of keyboardist Travis Hoard, and the drumming of human metronome John McFarland, KR-3 brings power and energy to each live performance which leaves audiences yearning for more.

Johnny Staats & The Delivery Boys
"I started listening to Bill Monroe and playing the mandolin when I was real young, probably around 8 or 9," he recalls. "I think I bought everything Bill Monroe put out. I listened to him and then as I was getting older I wanted to explore different kinds of music. I started hearing Sam Bush and the Newgrass Revival and I liked the way he was playing. It wasn't exactly bluegrass but I wanted to get my own style," and that he did.
Born and raised in West Virginia he caught the bluegrass bug early. With his mother playing piano, his father playing guitar, and his sister on the banjo, it seemed only natural that he would get his first mandolin at the age of seven.
Johnny is primarily known as a mandolin player, but he is also proficient with the guitar and fiddle as well Show More
