Be a part of a movement to preserve the past and serve the present as a member of the Morris-Jumel Mansion Museum.
If you are not a current member, we invite you to join during this important Spring Membership Drive. If you are already one of our valued members, consider sharing this with friends who would also enjoy being part of the MJM circle.
Next year, 2025, will be the 260th anniversary of the extraordinary Morris-Jumel Mansion, a building that since 1765 has been the site of New York and U.S. history. The landmarked MJM is the oldest surviving house in Manhattan and one of nation’s foremost historic house museums, each year attracting thousands of visitors from across the country and around the world. Committed to our community, we produce and host an active year-round calendar of low-cost and free events, both in person and virtual, that interpret history, culture, and the arts to explore inclusive narratives and engage and inspire diverse audiences. In all our endeavors, we work to empower visitors to create relevant contemporary connections to the histories of the MJM, its collections, the land, and its people, both past and present.
