Ongoing Throughout the Fall
Stop by the Library for an opportunity to play an oversized version of this classic naval combat game. Each time you visit the Library and check out an item, you will have a chance to launch one ‘strike’ against the opponent's fleet. If you are the one to launch the strike that sinks a ship, you will be awarded a small prize!

Fun For Children
Two-Part Pottery Class
Friday, October 6 at 1:00 p.m. (required) and Tuesday, November 21 at 2:00 p.m. (flexible)
During session one, form and decorate a hand-built clay sculpture or dish that will be fired and ready to glaze during session two. Session one is required while session two may be scheduled at a time that works for you, if needed! For children ages 6-10.
Fire Prevention Week Book and Craft
Tuesday, October 10 at 4:00 p.m.
Learn about fire safety! We will read a book, make a craft, and sing a song about firefighters and staying safe.
Fire Truck and Flame House
Saturday, October 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
If you like fire trucks, join us on the Common to see and touch fire apparatus. You might even be able to hold the hose and put out a fire.
Pumpkin Decorating

You bring the pumpkin, we supply everything else! There will be pompoms, stickers, paint and more. Come into the Library to sign up for a 30-minute time slot.
Read for the Record

Join over 2 million readers around the world to celebrate early literacy with Jumpstart’s Read for the Record and the book With Lots of Love by Jenny Torres Sanchez, illustrated by André Ceolin. Books and Blankies Senior at 11:15 a.m. will be open to all who want to participate in this shared reading event. Grab-and-go craft kits will be available.
