From: Bellevue Little TheatreBellevue Little Theatre will bring the classic musical 'White Christmas' to the stage this year during the holiday season with week end performances.
Opening night will feature wine and cheese for all adults as the BLT celebrates the theatre's 55th anniversary.
Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have developed a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. With a dazzling score featuring well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean” and the perennial title song, White Christmas is an uplifting, wholesome musical that will delight audiences of all ages.
On December 15 ASL interpreters will be present.
The BLT will focus on honoring veterans in the area and invites them to attend this delightful musical. This is also a show which can be enjoyed by families, and by all who are searching for an uplifting holiday experience.
The Durham Museum is offering an amazing exhibit of costumes from the original movie. The BLT will be involved in many of the activities associated with this outstanding exhibit.
