Bentonville Public Library Internet And Phone Connection Issues

Government and Politics

November 1, 2022

From: City Of Bentonville

Bentonville Public Library (BPL) is experiencing issues with internet and phone connectivity, and both are down inside the building. Computers within the building are currently unavailable. Phones are not working at this time (10/28/2022 4:25pm).

Items will still be available to checkout through manual transaction. To checkout an item, please bring your library card or government-issued photo ID. All patrons must sign a new Library of Things agreement to checkout a Library of Things item.

If a patron previously received an arrived hold email, the hold will be available on the indoor holds shelf at the Library. Holds currently waiting in the pickup lockers at the Bentonville Community Center are available for pickup. Holds inside the Outdoors Lockers at BPL are not available. New holds will not be available until the issues are resolved.

Items may still be returned through the book drops but will not be immediately removed from the account until all issues are resolved. Late fees are temporarily paused during this time.

To contact the Library, please use the email above. Staff will check the email when feasible and will answer as soon as possible. The Library will update the public when information becomes available. Please forgive the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
