Georg Vogel, Austrian composer and musician, will visit Pitt's campus to give a talk on 31-Tone Composition and Improvisation. This event is part of the 2025 Beyond Microtonal Festival presented by Music on the Edge. This event is free and open to the public- no registration is required.

Music on the Edge welcomes Georg Vogel, David Dornig and Valentin Duit’s 31-tone trio DSILTON as part of their 2024-2025 concert series. This performance is the opening event of the Beyond: Microtonal Music Festival.
This event is free and will be held at City of Asylum. Registration is required

8:00pm - JACK Quartet and Ekmeles Vocal Ensemble - Bellefield Hall
This concert is the second event of the Beyond: Microtonal Music Festival hosted by Music on the Edge. This performance will feature JACK Quartet and Ekmeles Vocal Ensemble. The performance will feature works by Gesualdo, James Weeks, Georg Friedrich Haas, Amy Williams and Christopher Otto .

This concert is the third event of the Beyond: Microtonal Music Festival hosted by Music on the Edge. This performance will feature JACK Quartet and Ellen Fullman's Long String Instrument Installation. The performance will premiere “Energy Archive” by Ellen Fullman. This event is free for Pitt and CMU students with ID.

This concert is the fourth event of the Beyond: Microtonal Music Festival hosted by Music on the Edge. This performance will feature JACK Quartet, pianist Conor Hanick, and Ekmeles Vocal Ensemble. The performance will feature works by Marcos Balter, Paul Gallagher, Austin Wulliman, Feliz Anne Reyes Macahis, and a world premiere by Mathew Rosenblum.

This concert is the fifth and final concert of the Beyond: Microtonal Music Festival hosted by Music on the Edge. This performance will feature Eric Moe, Theophilus Root, and Ryan McMasters. The performance will include works by Ezra Sims, Vincenzo Ruffo, Johnny Reinhard, and world premieres by Eric Moe, Julia Werntz, and Ryan McMasters.
