I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.

At the Chamber the entire team is always looking for ways to help the community. Team member Judy Lewis has been working hard to get the county to provide a hazardous waste and recycling event in the new year. During the process, she discovered that anyone age 65 or older receives free annual household hazardous waste pickup from the SD County Hazardous Waste Center “Our One Earth” at 877-713-2784 (if using a phone fixed, check 1). For more information on what hazardous waste is, brochures are available from the Chamber.

In other news, the Chamber Certified Farmers Market will have no further holiday date changes and will be held every Friday until the last of the season on April 26, 2024.
