July 27, 2023- Camp Punksylvania Music & Camping Festival has announced a plethora of activities and amenities featured alongside a weekend of live music.
Pennsylvania’s first DIY music & camping festival, Camp Punksylvania takes place September 1-3, 2023 at the legendary Circle Drive-In Theater. The festival features three stages and one-of-a-kind events that showcase and uplift the voices and talents of those in marginalized communities, as well as spotlighting notable artists for the fans.
Skullyland, an all ages carnival will be making its debut at the event this September. Skullyland features various rides, including a Ferris Wheel, bounce houses, funnel cakes & cotton candy, carnival games and more. Skullyland is open Friday, September 1st from 4-9pm and Saturday and Sunday from 1-9pm. Admission to Skullyland is included with each Camp Punksylvania ticket.
An interactive DIY Station featuring button making, postcards, tie-dye, friendship bracelets & patch sewing with punk rock mom & dad will also be making its first debut at the festival. The DIY Station will host a Coffee & Crafts event Sunday morning alongside Whiptail Coffee.
A new take on artist meet & greets takes shape at Camp Punksylvania. Keeping with the summer camp aspect of the event, Campers will be able to grab hot dogs (vegan friendly options) at the Chatty Monks Brew Garden alongside artists for a more intimate meet & greet experience. Daily schedules for the official “Meat & Greets” will be announced in August.
As if there wasn’t enough happening at this year’s Camp Punksylvania, attendees can kick back and relax after the Main Stage shuts down for special screenings on the Drive-In movie screens. Nightly movies and schedules will be announced the week leading up to Camp. An online poll will take place in early August to allow attendees the chance to vote.
