Been coop-ed up all winter? Ready to spread your wings? On May 7th, join us for the 42nd annual Chicken Run. New for 2023: All races start and finish on historic Fair Oaks Blvd, in the heart of Fair Oaks Village. Choose a distance that pleases your brood:

-The 5-mile Chicken Run takes you on a scenic tour of Fair Oaks neighborhoods, along the American River and Sailor Bar. A bit of road, a bit of trail - save some energy for those hills!

-The 2-mile Rooster Ramble run/walk is perfect for walkers and families with strollers, as it keeps to the paved roads of Old Fair Oaks.

-Got some free-range youngsters? Kids 12 and under get in on the action with the 1/4-mile or 1/2-mile Chicken Chase!

All Chicken Run participants will receive a soft-style cotton tee (crew neck or scoop neck options available), finisher medal, root beer float, collectible sticker, free photos and more. As a bonus, we will throw in this incredible scenery, for no extra charge!
