You won't want to miss the annual and very popular Spring Hawk Migration session with hawk-bander and raptor specialist, Larry Fischer. Come watch him catch (no guarantees) one or more hawks to present up-close to the group and discuss these extraordinary creatures, their migration behavior and why it is important to protect open space for these fascinating birds. Earth Day Ephemeral Wildflower Walk

Join Anthony Zemba, Certified Ecologist and Sr. Environmental Analyst at LandTech, a for a wildflower walk at Trout Brook Valley Preserve. Anthony will be searching for the magical “spring ephemerals” – a group of wildflowers that only bloom early in the growing season before the overhead canopy of trees and shrubs leaf out. Little Legs and Wildlife

Beavers, bears, coyotes...oh my! If you have little legs, or know someone who does, you won't want to miss this special hike with Ranger Jim, second in his series of hikes for Little Legs exploring all of the creatures living right here in our neck of the woods. From little insects to big bears, they are all around us thanks to land protection. It's never too early to learn why conservation counts!
