Only the most masterful chainsaw carvers can turn giant logs into beautiful works of art and we're bringing them to Eupora to compete against each other!

The carving competition will take place August 9, 10, 11, and 12 along with the Mississippi State Wood Magic Science Fair Exhibit.

On Friday 8/11 and Saturday 8/12 includes food trucks, crafty vendors, kids activities, and entertainment!  

Hour-long quick carves will be auctioning off on the spot on select days to the public.

Don't forget!  This is a competition.  Bring the whole family out to see the completed wood carvings and vote for your favorite masterpiece carving (the big ones)!

Wednesday August 9, 2023

10:00am: Event kickoff with carving all day.
Carvers will meet to pick their logs and settle in to start carving!
Carvers will bring art wood carving to sell at their booths.
10:00am–5:00pm: Chainsaw Carvers Vendor Booths – purchase wood carvings
10:00am–5:00pm: Mississippi State, “Wood Magic Science Fair” Exhibit.
